Dada Art and Appropriation

In this Pop-Up Makers event in the art studio on campus, we will learn about the art movement called Dada and the ways that Dada artists repurposed printed material to make original works of art. Following a brief introduction to the history of Dada art, attendees of this event will have the opportunity to use the technique of collage and the concept of appropriation to make their very own work of art, inspired by Dada. No previous experience withmaking art is required.
